Over the last few years, many instructors have experimented with their approach to due dates and late policies. Some have seen success with completely eliminating both, but many have not. Instructors have remarked that due date flexibility results in increased workload for them and decreased output by their students. In this session, we'll discuss several approaches to late work including:

• the Scaffolded Syllabus
• the Oops Pass
• the Late Work Explanation Form
