Description

This workshop will cover the basics of simple and multiple linear regression, including when to use a linear regression, what is signified by each component of the linear regression equation, how to interpret regression coefficients, and how multicollinearity impacts the relationships between predictors and outcomes. This workshop will use SPSS.

Facilitators: Dr. Shawn Bergman,Office of Research Consultation Zach Morgan, Office of Research Consultation

Objectives

  • Understand when to use linear regression.
  • Be able to interpret a linear regression output in SPSS, including values such as regression coefficients, standard errors, and p-values.
