Description

Designing engaging online courses facilitate the development of presence and community. This session will explore the process, pedagogy, and best practices of teaching online. Participants in the session will explore strategies, methods and tools for designing engaging online courses that also assist in the development of sense of presence. Discussions and activities will focus on strategies for facilitating engagement, presence, community, and authentic assessment strategies. During the session , particular attention will be paid to sharing ideas and strategies, as well as identifying evidence-based pedagogical approaches.
