Description
Lecturing is a primary form of instruction in many colleges and can be a valid method for delivering content information. However, traditional stand and deliver lectures don't always reach students in ways that help them retain, apply, and think critically about what they have learned. In this workshop, we will learn strategies for engaging students during lecture. These strategies include incorporating discussions, utilizing group note-taking, and embedding interactive tools.
