Course Description

Do you ever feel frustrated with the quality and/or effort that your student's put into their assignments? Are your students turning in work that does not reflect their full potential or capabilities?
Findings from a large scale study provide evidence that explicit assignments enhance student success-- especially for low-income, first-generation, and underrepresented college students (Winkelmas, et al., 2016). In this session, we will learn how to revise an assignment to clearly convey expectations for quality. Join us to learn how to apply simple methods to create more transparent assignments that will increase student success.
