Description
This workshop is designed for new researchers who need an introduction to how to create a database and experienced researchers who need a refresher on how to manage a database in SPSS. We will provide hands-on training for participants to master setting up their dataset so that planned analyses will go smoothly.

Objectives
- Understand the meaning of every column in SPSS variable view.
- Use syntax to manage their dataset.
- Create new variables by using “compute” and “recode” functions.
