Description

Due to COVID-19, faculty and instructors have had to alter their face-to-face exam formatting to one that is complimentary of a hybrid or fully online environment. In this session, we will explore both traditional and non-traditional approaches to exams and other high-stakes assessments. By anchoring our discussion in assessments that are student-focused, authentic, yet still practical to administer and grade, you’ll come away with an understanding of various approaches to online assessment. The pros and cons of proctoring software, creative approaches to the AsuLearn Quiz Tool, and time management strategies for assigning and grading authentic assignments will be discussed.

Facilitators: Susan Colby and Lindsay Masland
