Description
Online Writing Instruction (OWI) should be personal, accessible, responsive, and strategic (PARS). This workshop is designed to introduce participants to the principles of OWI with particular emphasis on the PARS model and its effective application across disciplines and online course delivery modes.
Objectives
- Identify the basic principles of OWI
- Describe the benefits of the PARS model in fulfilling the basic tenets of OWI best practices
- Assess elements of your syllabus or an assignment according to the PARS model
- Revise or compose a course element based on assessment
