Description
As recent events have highlighted, digital literacy is critical in our contemporary world and significantly impacts student learning. However, what digital literacy means and how it’s practiced vary widely across contexts. In this lunch and learn, several members of the University’s Digital Literacy Learning Community will introduce basic digital literacy concepts and frameworks, give examples of teaching and engaging with digital literacy in different disciplines, and discuss possibilities for incorporating digital literacy instruction in participants' courses.

- Describe meaningful impacts of digital literacy in one’s own discipline
- Discuss the implementation of digital literacy instruction in specific classroom contexts
