Description

As campus works to become more inclusive, one of the most important elements is the language that we use. Often heard is a reference to "pronouns", but what are they and why do they matter? During this engaging and interactive session, participants will learn about inclusive language, what pronouns are and how to appropriately ask for and use them, and better understand the importance of this small but powerful statement.

Facilitator:

  • Dr. Matthew Thomas-Reid, Leadership & Educational Studies/Inclusive Excellence, Center for Academic Excellence
