Description
Ungrading is a term used to describe a set of practices that deemphasize grades while emphasizing feedback, student agency, and reflection. There are many forms of upgrading and specifications grading is one of them. If you are interested in the idea of ungrading, specifically specifications grading, but have been hesitant to try it, this session might be right for you. We’ll explore benefits and drawbacks of specifications grading, as well as how to design a course or a portion of a course that uses specifications grading.
