This workshop will serve as an introduction to developing a research agenda for both new and seasoned faculty members. During this session, we will define "the research agenda" and discuss why it is important and various ways to establish and implement it successfully. Upon completion of this course, you should be able to:1.) Articulate why having a research career plan can be beneficial for developing your career as a faculty member; 2.) Describe what models and strategies can be used to develop a new research agenda; and 3.) Identify components of a research career plan that fit who you are and what you want to do.
