Description

The purpose of the Milestone Mutual Mentoring Workshop series is to create a welcoming and safe environment to support faculty as they pursue career milestones that are personally and professionally meaningful. In Session 1, facilitators will orient faculty participants in identifying and exploring relevant policies, procedures, and guidelines associated with their next career milestone, uncovering questions and/or discussion points for conversations with members of the home department/unit. In Session 2, we will discuss what evidence participants might use to demonstrate their skills, experiences, and expertise in areas of the dossier related to teaching, service, research, and leadership. Facilitators will share ideas, and participants will be invited to share ideas and questions. In Session 3, participants will identify a writing goal that they can work on during our time together. Most of the session will be spent with individuals working. During the last part of the last session, we will share progress and questions/challenges.
