This panel brings together faculty who have implemented alternative grading approaches such as collaborative grading, specifications grading, and mastery‑based assessment to share their experiences in practice. Panelists will discuss why they chose to rethink traditional grading, how alternative approaches have influenced student learning and engagement, and what the shift has meant for their own teaching and workload. The session will include time for questions and discussion and is open to faculty at any stage of exploring alternative grading.
